Stroke School:

FULL

For this session, we have combined the ‘White’ & ‘Blue’ Groups into ‘Stroke School’. Athletes will be divided daily into groups which best utilize their skills and address their needs. The focus is on expanding knowledge of the techniques of swimming, turns and diving while building stamina and learning how to use equipment and the clock. Before moving to the ‘Bronze’ group, swimmers should have a basic grasp of all four competitive strokes and reasonable endurance.

At this level, swimmers 8-12 years will be introduced to training sets. Swimmers work towards swimming 100s and 200 IM as their main events. Swimmers attend one meet per month with the goal of attaining silver time standards.

Register using our on-line registration system. The first time you register, you will create an on-line account that will securely keep all your information so that you can log in and make payments, update your info and check your balance. Next time you come to register, all your information will be there ready to go.

• USAS dues, meet fees, and 50% payment of the SEALS swim fees are required at registration.

• The SEALS needs a minimum payment at the time a swimmer is registered, even if the athlete is going to apply for financial aid.

• The outstanding balance can be paid any time by logging in to your account, but must be cleared 14 days prior to the end of the session. Regular reminder emails will be sent out.

• Accounts not paid in full by 14 days prior to the end of the session will be subject to a $25 late fee, and the outstanding balance will be charged to the credit card or bank account used when initially registering.

• Pro-rated fees are due in full at the time of registration.

• Families who have an unpaid balance from a prior swim season will be unable register for the next swim season until the account is brought up to date.

• By enrolling in the Seals Swim Team, athletes and families agree to be bound by the team’s policies.
